2008 - 2009 Prospective Member Tea, April 9 An “English style” tea was held on April 9th at the lovely home of Martha Coons to welcome 51 Prospective members to our great organization. Martha Coons, Hostess, Penny Powell, President, Susan Douglas, President Elect, Margery Feller, Membership VP, and Mary Ellen Borgelt, Membership Development Chair greeted the prospective members and their sponsors. Tea was served along with delectable English treats. Everyone attending thought they had been magically transported to England from the moment they entered the gate and gardens of Martha’s exquisite Elizabethan style home. Even the weather cooperated with a delightful coolness and mist in the air. These prospective members look forward to being introduced at the WSL May General Meeting as our 28-2009 New Members.
